The last voyage of COSL Rival

COSL

Rig Partner Decom has planned and executed the preparations for decommissioning of COSL Rival.

Rig Partner Decom acquired the accommodation rig COSL Rival from COSL Drilling for decommissioning. All preparatory activities were carried out at the quay in Kristiansand before the rig was towed to the decom yard in Turkey. The following companies were involved in the decom-project;  SR Group, Grieg Green, On & Offshore AS, Farsund Fortøyning Service, NorShip and Port of Kristiansand. The decommissioning project was executed in timely manner and without any incidents.

Management contract for Barge S600

The S600 is 183 m long and 47 m wide barge previously owned by Saipem. As manager for the barge Rig Partner Decom was responsible for relocating it to Egersund and prepare it for export to Turkey for recycling.

The S600 is a 183 m long and 47 m wide barge previously owned by Saipem. As manager for the barge Rig Partner Decom was responsible for relocating it to Egersund and prepare it for export to Turkey for recycling. The barge was relocated from Farsund to Egersund  in October 2021 and stayed in Egersund until departure in august 2022. Many thanks to Port of Egersund for their hospitality and service, FFS for their excellent tugs and Norship AS for assisting with export preparations.
