New framework agreement with OMV for rig intake services
Rig Partner has signed a five-year framework agreement with OMV for rig intake services. The contract includes an option for 2+2 years. The scope of work includes rig selection support, rig inspection, marine operation support, GAP studies, AfC support, DROPS inspections, DP trial/OVID, audit of drilling contractors and 3 party companies, and consultancy services.
Rig intake of Transocean Barents and Transocean Norge completed
Rig Partner has been involved in rig intake of Transocean Barents on behalf of Norske Shell and Transocean Norge on behalf of ConocoPhillips. Both units were in lay-up at Westcon yards in Ølen. Verifications were carried out onboard Barents and Norge, and the acceptance test program completed prior to contract commencement.
