Rig Partner Decom has acquired the drilling vessel Joides Resolution (former Sedco/BP 471) from Sea1 Offshore (former Siem Offshore). The vessel is located in Kristiansand and will be prepared for towing to Izmir/Turkey, where our partner Rota Shipping has an EU-approved recycling yard.
Rig Partner will be responsible for all preparatory activities, including the process for regulatory permits from Norwegian and Turkish authorities and the marine operations.
